Pixar's hoge standaard en Newt

Pixar zit vol concepten en ideeën. Ik bedoel, ik weet niet wat ze precies doen op dat kantoor, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat ze zo af en toe ook nog eens wat brainstormen. En uit die sessies komt dan soms iets zoals Newt, over een paar salamanders die elkaar niet mogen, maar uiteindelijk tóch verliefd worden. Je weet hoe dat gaat in films. Hoe dan ook, Newt is uiteindelijk niet in productie gegaan, omdat ze het waarschijnlijk toch niets vonden bij Pixar. Onder de cut vind je een korte synopsis en wat conceptart. Te awesome.

What happens when the last remaining male and female blue-footed newts on the planet are forced together by science to save the species, and they can’t stand each other?
