Ed Wood schrijvers doen Tim Burton's Addams Family

Het betekent een reünie voor het trio. De film zal in tegenstelling tot alle andere Addams Family media die we kennen trouwer blijven aan het bronmateriaal; de cartoon uit de New Yorker van vroegah.

Deadline had de scoop;

[The project is] based on artwork that Tim absolutely loves. The retrospective in New York of Tim’s own artwork showed how much of an influence Charles Addams was to him. We want the tone to be as darkly funny and subversive as the Addams drawings, and we’ve come up with an approach that nobody has ever done before.

Scott Alexander en Larry Karaszewski brachten ons Problem Child waar Tim Burton best onder de indruk van bleek. Toen kwam Ed Wood voor Burton en daarna volgden onder andere The People vs. Larry Flynt, Man on the Moon en 1408.
