Penny Arcade bestaat 11,5 jaar!!!

Penny Arcade, wie kent het niet. Ze bestaan alweer 11,5 jaar, dus dat moet gevierd worden met een boek. Dit keer geen verzameling webcomics, maar een echt boek over Mike Krahulik en Jerry Holkins, de oprichters van Penny Arcade en PAX. In een interview met MTV Splashpage leggen de heren het één en ander uit over de totstandkoming van dit boek.

Zo heeft het boek bijvoorbeeld twee titels. Jerry Holkins:

What you see under [the dust jacket] is the actual title.

..en vindt Mike Krahulik zijn oude werk bijvoorbeeld niet om aan te zien...

I would say it was painful, actually. I did the piece in the book where I cover from beginning to end how I got to the point I'm at now, but going back through and collecting a lot of the older comics, I cringe when I look at them.

The idea of putting them out there again… I sort of liked the idea that they were lost in the Internet. No one was ever going to go back 10 years and see what I was doing, and now this new book comes out and puts it in front of everyone's face.
